In 2014, I started the year with an amazing event called @PhreshStartLA. We gave clothes to 20+ underprivileged high school girls. The support we received from our peers and from social media was overwhelming, and the love and “thank you’s” that the girls gave us filled our hearts.
This year, my friends and I are doing it again, but this time we’ll be giving clothes to female and male high school students. To pull this off, we need the support of our friends and from the public again. We need clothes! Both new and gently worn are accepted donations. [Donations needed by 01.23.15]
- Go through your closets, you know you have clothes and accessories in there that you don’t plan on wearing ever again!
- The sweater that you got for Christmas that didn’t come with a gift receipt so you can’t return it… We’ll take that!
- Your clothing line!! Trying to find a great cause to donate last seasons looks to? We’ll take that too!
- Don’t have clothes, but down to make a monetary donation? Run it! lol
